Thursday Thoughts

Yesterday we attended the funeral of my husband’s uncle. He was only a few days shy of being 95 years old. It was remarkable. It was not really a sad day , but in many way a joyous day, because this uncle had lived a full life and is now in eternity. It was in many ways an encouraging day being reminded that this life’s difficulties is not all there is for God’s children.
I was still feeling dizzy and lightheaded, so I went into the dr. in late afternoon yesterday. The dr. said I had benign positional vetigo-something about the particles bouncing around in the inner ear which sends out faulty signals which causes dizziness. The dr. said it usually just lasts a couple of days. Hopefully that is true. With my husband’s neurological disease, one of us has to be stable on our feet. He gave me some medicine, but the medicine makes me sleepy.
We had supper with my son’s family again tonight and got to see the granddaughters again. My little 5 year old granddaugther said, ” I am praying for you, Grandma.” They are also praying for Great-Grandma. They are so sweet.

Hi Sharon–Oh, gosh, what more can happen this week? I hope the vertigo goes away ASAP!! And, the sweetness of a five-year-old–there’s nothing like it. Hope today is a good one for you.
