This Week, Write Letters To Those You Love

(Editor’s Note: On Wednesdays, we share a journaling tip as part of our series, Journaling 101. This is tip No. 12.)

This week, our exercise actually focuses outside your journal.

This week, rather than writing in your journal, write letters to those you love. In your letters, write about what you love, what you admire and what you’ve learned from those loved ones. And, share your favorite memories of your relationship.

Once your letters are written, deliver them.

Caregiving shows you that we’re never promised another day. This week, write letters to those you love so that they’ll always know how you feel about them. And, you’ll never have any regrets about holding on too long to unspoken (and unwritten) words.

I am a big believer in writing brief notes in my christmas cards. to me personally, and while I so appreciate anyone that remembers me with a card, I dont get as warm a feeling when I receive a card and it is preprinted with the families name. some people type the addresses on from their computer along with their return address. To me there is nothing like receiving a card with my name written by hand on top and signed by the person. If there is a letter or note it is definately an added bonus this was a good idea writen months ago but take a moment during this gift giving time to write a note to loved ones….it could really make someone feel very special…..
