Hi--I love talking about our dreams! :) Sometimes, we may think our dreams are on hold. I believe they are just waiting for us. If you can, take some time to listen to an episode of Your Caregiving Journey from July; it's about keeping hope. You can listen here.

never lose your dream...sometimes it feels they will never come true but we all must be patient and give ourselves time..when the time is right and we do things in a positive, sincere and caring way in time things will change.
i read, life sometimes is like giving birth...the labor is long, uncomfortable with a very painful time when the birth is about to happen but it brings us great joy and happiness in the end....even on the most mundance days believe you are a day closer to your dream.....!!.....

Hi Denise,
I have been thinking a lot about this recently. Do we pursue our dreams amidst all the responsibilities that caregiving entails? Clearly, we should be doing this, just as people around us are pursuing theirs'. I am so grateful for you Denise, and for caregiving.com. I love the challenges Caregiving.com brings, that remind me that I need to take care of me too! In reading some of the blogs, it seems that there are many of us that do not have the support or help from siblings/family. How fortunate we are to have this place to come to, in order to support each other, and remind each other of what is important, for us and those around us. I am so thankful for each of you! Caregiving is kind of like climbing a mountain. It gets more difficult the longer you climb. At times, near the top, it seems as though we are going to lose our footing. How comforting to know that Caregiving.com and all the resources it offers, can help us regain that "footing" and strength again. Each of us have been victimized by some type of "illness". Pushing forward and finding ways to live around that, is evidence that we can be strong. I think pursuing our dreams and things that make us happy, can only make us stronger. Now, what were those dreams again? (:
