Sharon...I'm a nurse doing research on "caregivers" when I came across you story.
I wanted you to know that you touched my heart and I will remember your words dearly as I tend to my Patients and especially their tired families.
warm regards leah

I am so sorry about yesterday! I'm so glad you told us. I would have been even sorrier had we not known. I hope today the sun shines for both of you and that the ride goes smoothly. We're all thinking of you and always wishing you much love and peace.

Your sadness, I can only imagine. It is different then my mother disappearing, and I know it has to be incredibly hard. I too have many times let the grandkids come over when I really didn't feel up to it either physically or emotionally, but once they were here they have always been good medicine for me. Thank God for our grandkids and the blessing they are at these times of our lives.

I dont even know how to reply. Once again this is a very heartfelt post and hopefully it will remind all of us of how fragile life is and how things change so incredibly quickly. I feel sad for your day yesterday. A sun filled afternoon that should have been a smooth ride turned out to be a large amount of work on you once again. I am so sorry that happened...I give you enormous credit however after such a stressful day and feeling so overwhelmed and tired you still said yes to watching your grandchildren and helped your family. You still are investing in their lives...You truly are a wonderful and caring person and the joy your grandchildren give you literally jumps out of my screen. I hope your getting out today helps you somewhat. thank you for your story..your a very special person!!
