I hope everyone’s Easter was great. We had a quiet Easter at home, with a few of our grown kids stopping by to say “hi”.
Last Tuesday, I was released to take care of Mom again after hurting my back. I’m so thankful for all the help from family members, and good medical care. I don’t think that I’ll have any lasting problems. I am supposed to wear a support belt at all...

Gram made it to another one. I truly didn’t think it was going to happen after the rough time we just had, so I invited family over for a big dinner and such on Saturday, figuring that earlier was better. It went really well and Gram seemed to enjoy having lots of people around.
She’s spent most of this evening ordering me about, so while she’s declined since last week, she is still herself.

I just came home earlier this evening from a Maundy Thursday service in church. When I contemplate all that the true meaning of Easter means to me I wonder why should the troubles of caregivng or any other troubles of this life ever get me down?
