Backstage

Backstage, actors let their hair down after doing their job on the stage.

After you complete your tasks and duties, how do you let your hair down backstage?

Your backstage may be a corner in a room, your journal, your garden. Wherever it is, use your backstage to just be, whether you be sad, tired, disappointed, relieved or hopeful.

Be backstage at some point during your day. It removes the jitters of being on stage the rest of your day.

I was never (never, ever), one to journal. During the past month, I have began journaling (modeling after each of your examples!), and it has been very helpful. It helps me to organize all of my concerns, thoughts, complaints, worries etc. It helps me to write them down, so I can see them! Some to let go of and some to work on. I never would have thought journaling would be such a nice way to sit and relax, but it has been a great help to me, and it is now something I really look forward to.
