Today, as we do every Saturday, we take time to really focus on enjoying a few moments of happiness. And, in order to encourage each other to do the same, we share in our comments section just how we welcome happiness.

Wow!!…I have to comment quick…Im a bit behind on here and need to read all of your wonderful stories..
Im rushing as Im happy to say we are going to Kevins nieces baby shower…Mom is really happy that she is getting out of the house…A little socializing on a Saturday afternoon…
Aside from that Im so happy for the technology of today. I have met so many people thanks to my computer keyboard…facebook has opened doors to lives of friends I went to high school with and family members, cousins, etc. that I have not seen or spoken to in years and we catch up on each others lives.
It also brought me so many friends…All of you!!…Denise, I have had a few very nice conversations with you as well as emails back and forth…your becoming a very special person more every day…
I have had conversations with Donna Webb which were delightful and I also need to do again real soon as I so enjoy them.
I got a lovely call from Bette yesterday…She was so kind and concerned about my feeling emotional over Sean…and WE ARE MEETING!!, her family and Kevin and I in Manhattan next month..Im so excited…
I am getting to know GJ better and I even know her real name lol…Im hoping to also MEET HER when she is on long island…
so far I have seen a picture of her family and they are lovely.
I have seen pictures of Sharon and Skye I remember posted one of she and her family as well….
We really are such a family….Im so lucky and so happy…and that is all thanks to my keyboard…as well as a book on caregiving that I bought years ago that mentioned finding a support group…and then magic…I found Denise Brown…and all of you….
Im very blessed and so HAPPY!!!

Hey New Yawker, glad to see you are up again! I hope sometime that this caregiving family can assemble in one spot, Denise called it a “meet-up” I think. Would be excellent!
Donna W´s last blog ..Embarking on Another Adventure-
Wayne, my husband, was safely sleeping in his easy chair this morning; so I decided to take a little ride down to Kohler Andre State Park and walk the trail. It was just me and the birds twittering with a little campground noices in the background. I also stopped by the Lake a few moments. I find this so peaceful and a real stress reliever. I was only gone a good hour.
My sister,Linda, a special person in my life, encouraged me to do this more often when she and her husband visited us this week. I resolve to try to fit this in a couple times a week if at all possible.
I had a great afternoon at our church picnic. I sat out on the patio in a cushioned rocking chair all afternoon, talking and talking…guess what I was talking about? What I know best lol caregiving. Actually I was talking with others who are now or have been caregivers. So, I had a very relaxing and satisfying Saturday afternoon, husband too! Tomorrow, I’ll be heading to church and have a great morning…back to back happy, pretty good!
