On Saturdays on Caregiving.com, we do our best to take a break from stress and enjoy happiness, even if only for a few moments.
So, after you take time for happiness, be sure what you do in our comments section. You’ll inspire all of us!
Reminders
- We Break for Winter, a weeklong event during which you have a chance to win every day, begins tomorrow. Be sure to stop by Caregiving.com every day next week for a chance to a gift basket, which will help you have a Super Bowl party right in your own home.
- Solitaire Showdown is January 30! Take a break from our Caregiving Garage Sale and play our Solitaire game any time between Noon CT and 8 p.m. CT. Whoever has high score during that time will win autographed copies of my books, Take Comfort, Reflections of Hope for Caregivers and Take Comfort, Too, More Reflections of Hope for Caregivers. Feel free to practice!
- Our Caregiving Garage Sale on SharingStore.com is January 29 and 30. Clean out your closets and sell the caregiving supplies and equipment you no longer use. Any ads you place on SharingStore.com, our caregiving classifieds site, during our garage sale are free.

The three of us are taking a CPR class this afternoon. This evening we are watching the movie, “Inception” which I just rented.
While at Blockbuster, I saw the movie, “Temple Grandin”. If you haven’t watched it, rent it! It’s a very inspirational family film.
Today was my first day back at the gym to get myself back on track and I treated myself to a manicure/pedicure
Today was my first day back at the gym to get myself back on track and I treated myself to a manicure/pedicure. I love finding time for myself which doesn’t happen very often
My grandson turned 7 yesterday. Today was his party. We rented a local pool and I swam with him, my 9 week old granddaughter, 3 nieces and my nephew. It was a wonderful day! Went to see Mom at the nursing home afterward.
