Resources for Life’s End
Jul 5 2011 in Denise's Blog by Denise
As we support The Unit Known as Shandi and her mom, I thought it would be helpful to share resources we have on the site.
You can find articles relating to end-of-life care, including making the feeding tube decision, here: www.caregiving.com/tag/end-of-life/
And, one of the articles includes a talk show I did about 18 months ago with a chief medical officer at a Hospice organization based in Florida (Making the Most of End-of-Life Care). I loved this interview because Dr. Daniel Maison offers suggestions and information based on common sense and comfort. You can listen to the show via the player, below.
I also wonder: What questions do you have about end of life? What resources can I add to help you?

Thank you, Denise. Your sentence “as we support The Unit Known as Shandi” brought tears to my eyes. I haven’t cried yet. There’s too much going on. It is on my schedule for tomorrow when I have some alone time. It doesn’t look good, but my Mom is amazing and has not given up.
