Today’s the last day we break for summer!

So, we’re ending on a fun note. Today’s question is: How will you play today?

You can play an instrument, play a board game, play cards, play tag or play a favorite song.

Or, maybe you’ll take a playful attitude.

You can play for a minute or two hours; it’s not about the time but about the doing. Play, then share in our comments section for your last chance to win one of our gift bags. Congrats to Francine, who yesterday’s gift bag. I’ll post our grand prize winner of the four free coaching sessions with me tomorrow.

Thanks so much to everyone for breaking with us!

I played this afternoon by baking. Rees has been asking for “No Bake” cookies.

Generally I make these at Christmas-time. Whenever I would make them, my mother would always say: “you know they’re good if they’re shiney”. She couldn’t say that tonight, but I could say it to myself (:

They were shiney – they came out “good”.

I ‘played’ with my book group, 6 women with whom I can laugh out loud. I was asked a couple of months ago to join this group, which meets just down the road at a neighbor’s home, and this has been a real blessing in my life. Two hours of sharing and laughter!

I “played” with the delightful box I found when I picked up my mail – from CAREGIVING.COM – What a sweet surprise that put such a huge smile on the faces of my whole Sandwich Generation family – from my senior mom who went with me to my granddaughter who had such fun looking through all the yummy and fun goodies. Thank you so much for such a fun surprise, Denise. What a blessing!
