World Alzheimer’s Month

Happy September 1st!  Today marks the start of World Alzheimer’s Month.  Visit the Alzheimer’s Association website at www.alz.org for more information.  They have a great slogan:  ”The End of Alzheimer’s Starts With Me.”

The goal is to raise awareness.  September 21s is Alzheimer’s Action Day.  If you are a Facebook user, you can change your profile picture to the “End Alz” icon to turn Facebook purple on September 21st, and help raise awareness.

Let’s all band together in this fight so that World Alzheimer’s Day does not have to be an annual event.

    We will be turning our FB page purple! We are taking part in the Walk To End Alzheimer’s on the 10th. Pictures will be posted on our FB page.

    An important cause we hold near to our hearts.
