Remember what it was like to make a snow angel? You plopped backward into a snow pile, then moved your arms and legs up and down in the snow. As carefully as you could, you stood up, trying hard not to disturb your angel in the snow you just created. Then, after standing, you turned around to enjoy what you made.
Ever day, you create something just as delicate and magical as a snow angel. How often do you turn around to really admire it? Today, take time to enjoy your life’s snow angels. In our comments section, share what and when you’ll admire.

You are a disruptor. The delivery of health care starts with you, continues because of you, and ends with you. Let's disrupt together to make the world better for family caregivers.

Growing up in upstate NY I use to love making snow angels as a kid. I think when it comes to looking back at myself I am not happy with what I see or have done often enough.
I think that I tend to overlook what I accomplish and focus more on what I don’t accomplish. I would like to learn to turn this around.

This is by far the hardest part of caregiving I’ve experienced. Tonight it took me a few minutes to convince my mother that her hand went on the walker handles and not her tissue box. It seems like everything is slow and sad. So many things take effort on her part and mine.
It is snowing here tonight – everyone is ready for bed and homework is done (: I just came in from making a snow angel! The snow coming down; it felt sooo good on my face (: Thank you for reminding me about snow angels. The kids were surprised I could make something like this – and admired it from the window…What a fun break from bedtime.
I need to think about the daily snow angels…thank you for the encouragement to do that, thank you for the encouragement in knowing they are there.

I just started playing with a new craft. I am trying to admire, rather than criticize my results.

What a fun and encouraging idea, Denise. You and your “angel” are such a blessing to so many
. This month I’m having fun making Valentine’s full of encouraging Bible verses to share with all our grandkids at SandwichINK.com – in between babysitting grandchildren and caring for elderly parents. My senior mom’s favorite creating is in the kitchen and with her gardening. The weather has the garden on hold, but she’s been enjoying cooking in the kitchen. Have a terrific week!

Denise, Thank you for the picture of snow angels. Growing up in Nebraska, I made my fair share and miss that out here in California. I have noticed that when I’m super stressed out, I just want to lay down and make a snow angel. Actually visualizing doing it helps control the stress. I haven’t had the nerve to make a pretend one in my office yet! My employees might think I’m a little nutty.
