Now Available: Your Forgiveness Book
Aug 27 2012 in CareGifters, Denise's Blog by Denise
Forgiveness, A Collection of Stories by Those Who Care, the third in our CareGifters Book Series, is now available as an ebook. The cost of the ebook is $5; the proceeds from books sales will be donated toward our CareGifters program. You can buy your copy here.
Forgiveness can seem so elusive. We fight it and then, once we fight through it, we wonder how we ever lived without it. In Forgiveness, our contributors tell you about life after forgiveness.
Trish, who blogs about caring for her brother, Robert, did an amazing job editing and producing the book. She worked tirelessly and lovingly to turn individuals stories into a collection of meaningful moments.
Trish and I will discuss Forgiveness on Thursday (August 28) at 11 a.m. ET (10 a.m. CT, 8 a.m. PT) on Your Caregiving Journey. We’ll be joined by two of our book’s contributors, Kathy and Joy. You can listen and join the show’s chat room here.
Our book about forgiveness is also a way for us to give back. We’ll use the revenue from our book sales to fund our CareGifters program. As often as we can, we send $500 to help a family caregiver in need through our CareGifters program.
I hope, after reading our book, you’ll welcome forgiveness as part of every day. With forgiveness, we make our days.
Buy your copy of the ebook here.
(We’re ready to publish our next book. We’d love for you to submit stories for a book about the gifts you give and receive in your caregiving experience. The deadline to submit a story for Gifts is October 1. You’ll find details here.)

Trish:
You did another wonderful job on the book. I love the cover what an awesome picture. I love ejourney’s photography also.
I can’t wait to read all the stories.

Thank you, Denise & Jane! This book really took on a life of its own which made my job easy. I knew it would be touching and poignant just because of the topic but the stories people submitted were far and above anything I could have imagined. I hope everyone was as moved by them as I was.
I appreciate everyone who submitted photographs or stories for entrusting me with their heart.

Oh, darn! That symbol was supposed to turn into a heart. I guess I’ll stick to happy faces.

Sorry I was not able to listen to the show live today, but I will listen later on this evening. I just ordered a copy of the book and I am looking forward to ‘digging’ into it! Forgiveness is such a great, yet elusive topic.

Thanks, Jane — and thanks, Trish and Denise! I’ve just read my copy and it is a beautiful and powerful collection. I’m honored and grateful to be a part of it. Like Chris, I’m sorry I missed this morning’s show, but I look forward to catching it on replay.
