I haven’t posted in a long time. Just been doing what has to be done and living life.

My family friend moved in with us a couple months ago and she decided we needed a bigger house with more bathrooms. She we went on a hunt for a fairly cheap house with more space and more bathrooms. We only have one bathroom and she has bladder issues so she HATES waiting even for half a minute. And the bathroom set-up doesn’t work for my disabled mom–it’s far away and too small with no safety bars to hold on to, and the door too small for the chair.

We found a house in June, and yesterday we closed on it.

It is eight bedrooms, four-and-a-half baths and three full baths. I haven’t been up there to verify; the hubby and family friend are up there right now checking it out. All the listings for it varied slightly with six to 10 bedrooms, four to eight  bathrooms and It is fully handicap accessible. Every single room, every bathroom. It has safety bars up the wazoo and tons and tons of space. Ramps in and out to the yards. I guess it was a old care faculty.

It is nine hours away from where we are at now. It is in a really small town (532 people). But the town has a real grocery store, a hospital, schools, dmv etc., which is more then my town right now has. It is right by the river and is in the middle of a couple national forests. I am so excited.

The family friend moved up there this weekend and the rest of us will be there after I graduate (in December). Hopefully everything will work out!
