Podcast: Life After Caregiving: An Update with Roaringmouse (??)

Radio.svgOn June 20th, Denise had a show scheduled with @roaringmouse, who blogged here on the site until last summer when her husband, Greg, passed away. Denise wanted to know how she is doing.

The show didn’t turn out exactly like Denise thought it would…. I was surprised myself.

Make sure that you listen to the show and, as always, leave your comments in the box below.

My name is Jane and I care for my 19 year old daughter, Nicole, who has several congenital heart defects, Eisenmenger's syndrome and pulmonary hypertension which is a rare, life-threatening, incurable and progressive lung disease that causes blood pressure within the pulmonary arteries to become higher than normal. She also has several other health issues that are not as severe.I have two blogs one is "A Day in the Life" which chronicles Nicole's diagnosis and our everyday life. My other blog is "Let's Get Organized" which chronicles my struggle to get the clutter out of my house and get organized.

First of all let me just say what an awesome show this was. Kathy you did an awesome job. I love your accent, you sense of humor and I admire you so much.

I could relate to so much of what you said because I also love denial.

I related to so much of what you said. I would love to write a comment to everybody’s blog and even read everybody’s blog but I just can’t and have given myself permission to only respond to the ones who I can relate too or speak to my heart.

Hi–First, @jbones1961, I’m getting such a kick out of the comments you are leaving on your own posts. :)

And, second, Roaringmouse felt horrible about what happened. A long night got the best of her the day of our show. So, I’ll let you know when we’ve rescheduled.
