Don't miss:

bouquet_of_flowersWe all have moments when we look to the sky and say, “Pick me, please! Pick me for an easy life!”

And, then we wait. After all, isn’t that what we’re supposed to do? Ask for what we want?

As we wait, our life stays the same. And, it’s not easy.

And, then we think, “I’m not going to get picked. I didn’t get picked. It’s going to stay this way. It’s going to be difficult.”

So, I guess we have to do our own picking. So, we can pick up flowers once in awhile to pretty our surroundings. We can pick a better way to manage our day’s schedule. We can pick a better circle of support that actually offers support. We can pick a way to find down time and then actually enjoy it. We can pick a time each day to sit in quiet reflection, which reminds us that we got picked to do something very special.

Maybe we didn’t get picked for an easy life. Instead, we got picked to lead a meaningful one.

I bow to the Master, just a tiny grasshopper I am. The words come from the years of experience and from the years of experience comes truth. Very nice words and no truer words could be written. \ : ^{ )>
