I am back after having back surgery, really feeling good, but as my husband reminds me don’t overdue it.
While I was recovering my hubby and my mom worked great together. My poor husband had his hands full; he had me, Mom, our two-year-old granddaughter and everyone that was trying to find out how I was doing. First time in 34 years of marriage and many surgeries, this surgery I ask John to stayed with me overnight. I don’t know why but he did. I spent an extra day in hospital because I just didn’t want to go home until the second day. I came home with a catheter from the hospital and of course I got my first UTI, which was very painful. But I survived once I got the right medicine. I am step up for therapy for Tuesday and Thursday.
My mom at one time thought I was sleeping too much, then I told her it had been only two weeks since surgery, so she settle down on that.
My brother from Georgia came down to visit Mom for a couple days last week. He bought her some new clothes, took her out to lunch and dinner and made it a nice stay with him and my mom.
We (actually my hubby) have to watch our granddaughter almost every day right now, sometimes for two hours and sometimes eight hours. She is a busy bee now a days.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am back and back to normal, so-so.
Have a great week.
