I have therapy twice a week and our granddaughter is with us five days a week. Today and tomorrow her parents are off, so we have two free days. My hubby is having his last show for the season; he does living history, the years from 1740 – 1850. He is a great teacher and can give talks for any age. He makes all his clothes for that time period. I like when it’s over because he’s here more over the weekend and he will cut his hair and trim his beard. I joke that when he gets cleaned up I am not living with my great-granddad. My husband is very special.
I have started working our plans for my mother 90th birthday in September. I am lucky that I have a sister-in-law who lives close to us who will help. My daughter-in-law will also help. I told Mom where we were going to have the celebration and she got upset because she wants it at church. So I gave in, but I told her “I am not telling anything else.” She worries about how much we are spending and I have to remind her that all four of her children are grown and are not poor, and we know how much we can spend. My mom has Scottish blood running in body, she probably saved her first dollar she made.
Well, tomorrow I have to do taxes, no time to put it off. Hope everyone have a great weekend.
