This year’s survey includes some new questions, including:
- How many times have you been in a caregiving role?
- What’s the worst question others ask you?
- When is/was the worst time for you in caregiving?
The survey also collects demographics of the respondents: How long they’ve been caring, how much longer they expect to be a caregiver and for whom they care. Respondents also shared suggestions for what can improve in our communities to help them, what advice they’d give to a new family caregiver as well as to health care professionals, and what life lessons they’ve learned because of caregiving.
