October brings a new level of caregiving to my mom and I. After spending a week in the hospital and two weeks in a post acute rehabilitation facility, we are home and getting used to a few changes. Here’s my first, second, third…. Photo chore of the day. Of course coffee, mocha and espresso to be exact which are ever caregivers morning gogo juice, unless you drink tea. Then it’s Roberts lunch and finally either empty the clean or load the dirty dishes. Happy October and early Halloween.

It’s Wednesday but we’re letting Robert sleep in a little bit before getting ready for Day Program. This means I will be late to work but Robert doesn’t seem to be feeling well and I’m concerned he is getting sick again. This is the first time Nicole has been able to get into the pool for two years since she started Remodulin. The pump and the site can’t get wet. Just for Nicole to take a shower she gets pump bags and water guards for her site from the specialty pharmacy add to that some waterproof tape and press n’ seal and she’s good to go.

As you can see this month landed on garbage day. I would have to say if your in a caregiving situation you have several of these.
