Hi Elizabeth, Wow! 17 years of caregiver, plus looking for another job, plus all the day-to-day responsibilities. That will wear on a body. Even if you feel that the pressure is manageable it still can just drain. It's constant--the worrying, the doing, the taking care.

One suggestion for multi-tasking: Create fluid priorities that change with each new day. Depending on your job search, school work and caregiving needs, you create your priorities, which change as needed daily (and sometimes within the day). My other suggestion would be to take a look at our special series of articles, "Telling the Truth So You Can Form Your Team," which is here.

I look forward to hearing how others manage.

Please keep us posted on how you are doing... :)

Wanted to ask members of the group how they focus on multi-tasking. I am responsible for taking care of two households, mine and my parents, looking for another position after being laid off 19 mos ago from a senior role, continuing with my Masters Degree and ensuring my parents care which I've done for the past 17 years. I've noticed I'm much more irritable than normal, more tired and forget things which was not the case even a year ago.

Any advice, tips, insights are welcome.

Thank you! God Bless!
