Help With Prescription Drug Costs

The Social Security Administration has created a campaign designed to ‘help mothers save on prescription drugs’. The campaign is targeted to reach friends, family members and caregivers of Medicare beneficiaries who may be eligible for the extra help that is available for their prescription drug costs. The initiative includes a pamphlet, icons and an article in both English and Spanish. The extra help, which could cover monthly premiums, annual deductibles and prescription co-payment costs, is worth as much as $3,600 each year.
