wall-356409_640As I mentioned in Sunday’s newsletter for our Caregiving.com members, we’ve got a new chat!!

Our new chat works on your mobile device (no chat app needed!). Depending on your mobile device, you may see the chat bar at the bottom of the website after you log into your Caregiving.com account. If you don’t see the chat bar, you can click on “Chat” on the very top of the page–the link will take you to our mobile chat. On your desktop or laptop, join our chatroom by clicking on the icon just to the left of “Chat.”

And, remember, you can check into our chatroom, “I’m In the Hospital–Keep Me Company”–when you’re with your caree in the hospital.

I’ve also relaunched a Forum–These Four Walls. These Four Walls had been a part of the website years ago and I thought they would be a great addition to our updated Forums. On These Four Walls, you can share a request for a prayer, a memory of your caree, a hope and a courageous moment that can inspire others.

I’m continuing to work on the website’s loading speed. I’m dong my best to ensure the website loads as quickly as possible for you.

Thank you so much for being a part of our community! And, if you’re a visitor, please consider becoming a member. We’d love to have you join us! When you create your free Caregiving.com account, you can start blogging, connect with others in a similar situation and share without guilt about your days

About Denise

I began working with family caregivers in 1990 and launched Caregiving.com in 1996 to help and support them. Through my blog, I share words of comfort and offer coping strategies and tips. I also write opinion pieces about recent research, community programs and media coverage of caregiving issues. I've written several caregiving books, including "The Caregiving Years, Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey," "Take Comfort, Reflections of Hope for Caregivers" and "After Caregiving Ends, A Guide to Beginning Again." You can purchase my books and schedule a coaching call with me in our store.
