The need is great for services and programs to help those individuals who care for a family member or friend (family caregivers).

Companies from established multinationals to startups, mass-market firms to niche players, are recognizing a caregiving market  opportunity that’s expected to reach $72  billion in 2020 alone. The cumulative total for 2016-2020 is expected to be $279 billion, with $60 billion of this being caregiver out-of-pocket spending. ~ AARP Caregiving Innovation Frontiers (CIF) study

The need is greater for professionals who get it like you.

When you complement your personal caregiving experience with our Certified Caregiving Consultant™ training program, you have the opportunity to be part of the solution that helps family caregivers. You have the knowledge base about caregiving resources and solutions. Our training program offers the insights about the caregiving experience and teaches the communication techniques which enhance your connections with family caregivers. We teach you how to be effective when you consult with clients who may be experiencing the worst times of their lives.

With our CCC training program, you transform a personal caregiving experience into a profession. As a Certified Caregiving Consultant™, you share your wisdom, lessons learned and resources to help those who care for a family member or friend. You also charge individuals and organizations for your services.

You also can watch our video during which Denise gives an overview of our training programs and review our Frequently Asked Questions.

Denise created the CCC program from her own experiences serving family caregivers since 1990. In 2004, Denise decided she needed to invest in professional training to ensure family caregivers and former family caregivers receive the best support possible. She scraped together $5,000 to enroll in a life coach training program. (The coach training program now costs about $10,000.)

In 2016, she created a training program that gives you what she knows works but at a much lower price point.

Family caregivers are searching for help. They do want to connect with another who's had a similar experience and who has completed professional training. Meaning, they look for letters after a name. Our CCC letters mean an individual has committed to professional development and excellence in service to those who care and cared for a family member. Meet our Certified Caregiving Consultants and Educators.

With our Caregiving Support Benefit, Story Project and Care and Share™, you have three programs that help you immediately connect with family caregivers and prospective clients.

An investment in our training program is an investment in your career or business. Many of our Certified Caregiving Consultants™ bill about $40 per 30-minute consulting sessions which means you earn back your investment by billing 38 hours of your consulting time with clients. A Head Start on Your Success

Our CCCs and CCE share their insights in the media, including in interviews featured in newspapers, magazines, podcasts and video chats, and through their own books. They also launched successful initiatives after completing our training, including:

  • Being a catalyst for change. Saskia Jennings, a CCC and CCE, hosted a Family Caregiver Symposium in October. During the Symposium, she introduced our "My Life-Right-Now Wheel" and asked everyone to choose what they want more of and to make a specific plan to have it. During lunch, two attendees who are also sisters disappeared and returned a little late. Saskia asked how it went with the Wheel. One sister said, "Wellness jumped out at me. I know I so want that for myself and my family so I stepped out for a while and booked this cruise in Asia for myself and my family while my sister agreed to take care of mom." Saskia asked, "You did this as a result of gaining insight from the wheel?" The sister responded, "YES! I feel so happy that this gave me my AHA moment without feeling guilty."

  • Presenting at our National Caregiving Conferences. 18 CCCs and CCE presented at our Fourth Annual National Caregiving Conference in November 2019. 15 CCCs and CCEs presented at our Third Annual National Caregiving Conference in November 2018.

  • Hosting regional conferences. Dannelle LeBlanc and Debbie Howard hosted our first regional conference in Wimberley, Tex., in April 2018. Beth, Trudy, Debra Hallisey, Penny Patnaude and Nneka Njideka hosted our regional caregiving conference in New Jersey in September 2018.

  • Getting hired by as a paid social media influencer by a national brand like Elizabeth Miller.

  • Securing a client within weeks of becoming certified like Robin Weeks did. Robin became certified on December 27 and enrolled her first client on January 14.
  • Securing paid training opportunities within their communities. Immediately after completing our CCC and CCE training, Dannelle LeBlanc submitted a proposal with her local Area Agency on Aging to deliver caregiving workshops. She used the information learned during our training to create a winning proposal. She completed her workshops in 2019 and was renewed to deliver another series in 2020.

  • Launching a Family Caregiver Program for a spiritual community like Gael Chiarella Alba did.

  • Working with family caregivers as their paid consultants, offering guidance and support. Toni Gitles recently secured another client because of her page on Caregiving.com. (CCCs have the option of having a free page on Caregiving.com.)

  • Co-hosting a monthly chat, like Jeff Peterson does with Denise on owning a small business and a caregiving experience.

  • Providing CEU workshops and facilitating support groups. After CCC training, Mike Cooper began facilitating a support group of wives of Parkinson’s husbands. Six weeks after completing requirements for his CCE, Mike conducted the first of a monthly Continuing Education Workshop Series where 12 participants earned CEUs. Both programs are designed to increase awareness of his and his wife’s business, Naperville Senior Center, Adult Day Services, which providing peace of mind to caregivers and a fun, very active and safe center for their family members.

  • Sharing insights and experiences at national conferences like Rachel Hiles did in 2019 at the National ARCH Conference. She represented Millennial family caregivers in the closing keynote panel. Rachel also co-hosts a monthly video discussion with Denise to help family caregivers make a break for themselves.
