Join Eric for his session during our Third Annual National Caregiving Conference:

Protecting Family with Powers of Attorney on Friday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m.
Powers of attorney are the most critical tool that families can use to protect a family member from abuse and neglect. Though many people know about the document, many others put off preparing one until it is too late. And there are some common problems that are not addressed in a typical power of attorney. This seminar will focus on how caregivers can use these powerful advance directives to get the care that their family member wants. It will also address how they can prevent financial abuse.

Eric is an elder law attorney practicing at Stotis & Baird, Chartered in Chicago. He frequently speaks and lectures on elder law topics. His work includes guardianship, powers of attorney, estate planning, nursing home neglect, elder abuse and probate. His work and his public speaking draws from his experiences working to protect clients and his experiences with his own family.
