Protecting Seniors from Financial Scams on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 3 p.m.
Over $36 billion is lost per year by seniors due to financial scams. Learn about the different types of financial scams including those by email, telephone or in person, what the scammers are seeking, the most common scams and how to detect and protect against scams.

The presentation will also discuss who commits the scams, warning signs of a potential scam and steps to take if a scam occurs.

Steve is a daily money manager and brings a unique combination of education and professional experience to his clients. He is an attorney, CPA and member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange where he was a former Vice Chairman, Treasurer and Board Member. He was a past instructor in taxation at Roosevelt University. In addition, he is an arbitrator for FINRA and the National Futures Association. He received his law degree from Northwestern University Law School and a B.S. in accounting with honors from the University of Illinois.
