28 Ways to Show the Love: Purchase Valentine's Day Card for the Kids

Each day in February, we’ll share a way that family members and friends can help the family caregiver in their lives. (A family caregiver is an individual who cares for a family member or friend, just like you.) Through our campaign, we hope to create awareness of what family caregivers do and how others can help.

Today's tip comes from Jackie (@Jackie), who cares for her daughter: Help by purchasing valentine's cards that our kids exchange at school.

Why this tip is so important: "Adding just one more thing to not forget to the list of the never-ending tasks at our home can sometimes just throw us over the edge. Every year all four kids have to exchange valentine's day cards with their classmates; not having to remember to purchase them Feb. 13th at midnight, priceless!"

That is a great idea. I am going to buy a box or two for the nursing home.

This is a great idea. Special days like Valentine's are often fraught with \"one more thing\" for caregivers. Picking up extra boxes of cards at Target, etc., can be a life-saver.
