29 Ways to Show the Love: Take Care of Lawn, Snow

(A family caregiver is an individual who cares for a family member or friend, just like you.) Through our campaign, we hope to create awareness of what family caregivers do and how others can help.

Today’s tip comes from Jean (@jmkeslin), who cared for her parents and her mother-in-law: Shovel the snow and rake the leaves.

Why this tip is important: We're so busy inside the house providing care that we struggle to get out of the house to take care of the snow, the leaves, the grass. When you take on shoveling the snow, raking the leaves and mowing the lawn, you take care of us, too. You ensure our time is spent taking care of what's most important to us: our carees, our families, ourselves.
