A CareGifters Recipient: Richard
Denise

In his CareGifters application, Richard details how he will use the money which we sent to him yesterday:
Caregiving.com: Tell us about your caregiving situation. For whom do you care? How long have you been in a caregiving situation?:
Richard: I take care of my wife, Stephanie, who has MS. We have been married nearly 20 years; I have been full-time caregiving six years. I also work a full-time job.
Caregiving.com: What are your top three challenges?
Richard: Time to do all i need to, money to keep it all together and being organized.
Caregiving.com: How will $500 help you?
Richard: It would help us catch up on bills and not get behind. It would also keep me from being stressed about being behind. I missed a month of work because my wife and I were both sick with bronchitis--two weeks for her and two weeks for me. I had no sick leave or vacation time to use. I would be able to pay all my bills and some of mortgage. My wife's SSI would help pay the rest of mortgage and food for the rest of the month. I will be back at work this week.
