To all my "family" and friends at Caregiving.com:

For all of you who are traveling this journey with me, from the five days after I brought my husband home after spinal cord surgery that left him paralyzed, through our unexpected move and exile during the critical portion of his rehab, across all the hills and valleys that have been his health, and down that final path I walked with my much loved mother. You give me hope, when I have none, support when I cannot stand alone, solace when I cannot be comforted. You are the ones that have lighted my flame.

“At times our own light goes out and is rekindled by a spark from another person. Each of us has cause to think with deep gratitude of those who have lighted the flame within us.” — Albert Schweitzer
