I'm grateful for so many things today. First and foremost that the Hospice nurse said that after my Dad's medications were reviewed he can stay on all of them. I was worried that they were going to take him off his memory meds and didn't want his memory to go before he dies. 2nd - my friend Catherine, who is living with us at a difficult time in her life, is an incredible support. I thought I was helping her by having her live with us temporarily, and God has shown me that he is using her more than I ever thought possible for support emotionally for me and tangibly around the house and with my Dad. And last but not least, Dad had a little extra energy to hang out with me in the kitchen while I got dinner prepared. It was fun to do something different with him... doesn't sound exciting, but when all he does is sit in his power lift recliner all day it's a big thing. =)

I am grateful to have been able to attend my yoga class and for the help I received at the support centre for cancer patients and their families.

After getting my morning must-do list out of the way, I actually have an hour or so to just sit, prop my \"jank foot\" up with a cold pack, and just chill. Literally!

Thankful for a company that understands the meaning of FMLA and allowing me to leave as needed for my wife or my health issues. Most often related to hers. Also thankful to have a fair amount of time in vacation that covers my paycheck when I have days I can't be at work.

Grateful for the thoughtful friend who power washed my dusty wraparound porch while I was at work.
