bouquet-432769_640(1)Every day this week, we’re celebrating Caregiving.com’s 19th birthday with activities and prizes.

Today, we’re celebrating on Facebook by sharing a gratitude for family caregivers.

Whenever you can today, share an update on your Facebook page that expresses thanks for all family caregivers. Your update could look like this:

I care for my (insert information about your caree). It’s been one of the toughest experiences in my life. And, yet, I have moments and days that make me forget the tough times. Today, I’m giving thanks for all the others like me in the world, who get up every day and make a difference in their families and in their communities. I’m so grateful to be in your company! And, if you’re caring for a family member, join me at Caregiving.com where we share stories, support and solutions.

Once you share your update, let us know in our comments section, below. I’ll choose a random winner to receive a $10 Amazon.com gift card. When you post a comment today, you’ll also be entered to win our grand prize of $100 cash.

Today, let's give thanks.

(Note: To win a daily prize and/or a grand prize, you must be a current or former family caregiver, a member of Caregiving.com and participate in one of our daily disrupt activities. Not a member of Caregiving.com? Create your free Caregiving.com account and join us.)

Here's My FB Update, like Hussy, tweaked it a bit too!\nHubby and I live in and care for my 95 year old Grandmother. It’s been one of the longest of the toughest experiences in my life. And, yet, I have moments and days that make me forget how many tough times there have been. I still have no regrets for the Caregiving decision we made 5 1/2 years ago. Today, I’m giving thanks to God for all the others like me in the world, who get up every day and make a difference in their families and in their communities. I’m so grateful to be in your company! I want you to know that if you’re caring for a family member/friend or have just ended your caregiving journey, join me at CareGiving.com where we share stories, support and solutions whether you are Caregiving now or in the AfterCareGiving mode. \n

Thank you so much @hussy @terri and @lillie!! I love what you guys wrote. :)\n\nI just posted mine:\nI launched CareGiving.com in 1996 to help those who care for a family member or friend. It's now a great source of support as I care for my parents. (I use what I built!!) The members of CareGiving.com are so supportive and kind--we really look out for each other. I'm so grateful for them and for anyone who cares for a family member. It's a tough job but oh so important.\n\nIf you are caring for a family member, I hope you'll join us on CareGiving.com. :)
