Blow

Denise
800px-Bloedel_Reserve_Willow_TreeThroughout your caregiving experience:

You may think, "I hope I don't blow this!"

You may fret, "I wish I didn't blow up like that!"

You may wish, "I would love to blow out of here, just leave, disappear."

More than anything, you hope it will all blow over--the illness, the sickness, the disability, the worries, the endless grind, the tearing heartache.

Unfortunately, no strong wind will blow away your life's reality. With your reality comes an intensity that rarely leaves. Because of that, you may blow it, you will blow up, and you will desire to blow out of there. Which means you are simply human within this horribly demanding experience of caregiving.

During such a trying time, take a page from the willow tree, which stands firm with its strong roots as it bends with the wind. Not matter how much your life blows, your strong roots--your tenacity, your conviction and your diligence--ensure that you continue.

You are the bravest survivor we know.
