Call for Research Participants: Family Caregivers of Older Adults Living Independently

diagram-295468_640I received an email yesterday Seamus Palmer, research director and owner of EXPRESS Research. He's looking for participants for a current research project. If you qualify, you'll participate in a two-hour interview and receive a $300 honorarium.

To qualify, you must meet for the following criteria:

  • You care for an adult caregiver for a senior family member or friend who lives independently (i.e. does not have a professional home caregiver or live in an assisted living facility) and you use an activity monitoring system.

  • You've purchased the monitoring system with your personal income (i.e. the monitoring system was not a gift from a product company or any person affiliated with product company, or being used on a trial basis).

  • Your caree is capable of all Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mouth care, toileting, walking, climbing stairs, eating).

  • You check in once a day (visit, phone call, text, video chat, etc.) on your caree.

  • You currently use one of the following activity monitoring systems: ActiveCare Pendant, Ambio, Amulyte, BeClose, CareAlert™ Monitoring System, Care@HomeTM, Care Innovations™ QuietCare®, FamilyLink, eNeighbor, Evermind, GrandCare Systems, Live!y (Live!y), MobileCare Monitor, QuietResponse, SilentAlert Resident Monitor System, SaferAging, Touch-free Life Care™ (TLC) System.
