Caregiving Happiness Project: Organize

0
We begin our Caregiving Happiness Project today!

We'll start with an action word to help us put it all together: Organize.

It’s wonderful to organize what we have. With an organized home, day and mind, we can move more gracefully within our moments.

For me, I’m going to organize: 1. My goals, so I know which to pursue first. 2. My paperwork, so I’m ready to file my taxes in February.

With organization, you have what you need, which means you are ready for the possibilities and opportunities coming your way.

Happiness Project Members: Tell us what you'll organize in our Forum.

I am happy that you got a closet that puts a smile on your face. There are not enough reasons to smile in this business.\r\nI have been decluttering and discarding old medical supplies, some from six years ago. Bringing a smile to my face.

I was excited to read that that your action word is organize as I have promised myself that 2019 will be the year I get organized. I plan to organize the family room turned sick room with all its boxes and bags of supplies, bottles and spray cans etc. I want to make it look neater and make it easier for me, my sons and care workers to find what we need. I also want to write down procedures and schedules. I have been thinking about what would would happen if I got sick. My plan is to remove the clothes hubby no longer wears and install shelves. I said I wanted to call one of those closet fixer companies but my son said he could do it and save a lot of money. I like saving money but when will he get to it ?? I also want to organize my “me” room and my calendar. I must say that writing this down is making me feel really committed to doing all of it.
