Congrats to These Certified Caregiving Consultants!

Congrats to These Certified Caregiving Consultants!

Congratulations to these students who have successfully completed our Certified Caregiving Consultant™ training program. In addition, Marti Hannon added Certified Caregiving Educator™ to her Certified Caregiving Consultant™ designation. The following graduates are now, officially, Certified Caregiving Consultants™:

Rachel Hiles
Rachel is a 31-year-old aspiring local celebrity do-gooder in Kansas City, MO. She has her Master’s in Public Administration with an emphasis in nonprofit management. She is proud to be a second generation AmeriCorps member! Her passion is where social justice and technology meet. Her specialty is making projects, programs, and organizations look good through top-notch web design, print products, and video projects. The experience she has over the last eight years working at the statewide resource center for individuals with disabilities and special healthcare needs in Missouri supports her foundation as a Certified Caregiver Consultant™. She has used the knowledge and experiences gained over the past twelve years building a career helping people with disabilities at the individual, organizational, and systems levels to help her grandma, for whom she is the primary caregiver, have a good life and age in place. She was guardian, advocate, and most importantly, friend, to Calvin, a 52-year-old man who was deaf and blind and had developmental disabilities. Connect with Rachel.

Terry Prince
Terry, a caregiving coach, offers ongoing phone support to caregivers supporting their family members or loved ones.. As a sandwich generation caregiver, Terry supported her family locally and long distance through mobility issues, COPD, respiratory issues, dialysis, and heart disease. Terry is experienced with the day-to-day life of a caregiver and the effect it has on the caregiver and the family. Terry is a Certified professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD®) and an International Coaches Federation member. Connect with Terry.

Ann Ruud
Ann has a business background that ultimately led her to begin her own life coach practice in 2009 (International Coach Federation graduate). As much as she enjoyed working with numbers and process improvement, her true passion is people development. In particular, she loves helping clients discover what matters to them and assisting to get there through evoking questions and helping to remove emotional roadblocks. Ann spent the past few years supporting two caregivers in an unofficial consultant capacity. Through this experience, she came to realize the absolute need for family caregivers to be supported and became a Certified Caregiving Consultant™. She now focuses her coaching career on partnering with family caregivers. She collaborates with clients to articulate their ultimate purpose in caregiving and then helps them to navigate, in a purposeful manner, through myriad emotions, events and family dynamics. Connect with Ann.

Beth Suereth
Beth lovingly cared for her elderly father through five years of hospitalizations, dementia, and diabetes. She’s passionate about sharing the expertise that kept him out of the hospital through his cancer and the entire last year of his life. Beth is the former national director of marketing for infusion and home care provider BioScrip. She is now a Certified Caregiving Consultant and End-of-Life Doula, and she works with patient families at a caregivers center in a NJ hospital to help them manage the hospital stay. Connect with Beth.
