0
Congratulations to these students who have successfully completed our Certified Caregiving Facilitator™ training program. The following graduates are now, officially, Certified Caregiving Facilitators™ and will make a difference by leading support groups for family caregivers and/or former family caregiver in their communities:

Bobbie Boyd
Bobbie is a Senior Advisor with Hospice at Home of Arizona in Mesa, Ariz. In her work, Bobbie provides educational community programs and resources for caregivers, retirement communities, healthcare networks and physicians’ offices. Bobbie's personal caregiving experience of caring for her mom inspires her to support family caregivers in her community. You can connect with Bobbie on her profile page: @bobbieboyd.

Toni Gitles
Toni took care of her mom for 14 years and understands the physical, mental, financial, emotional and spiritual challenges of the caregiver's journey. As long as her mom was able to make decisions, she worked closely with her mom to create a roadmap for her mom's care. As an only child, however, all the responsibility fell on Toni's shoulders. Toni delights that she has no regrets about how she took care of her mom, the decisions she made, and the time and energy that went into caregiving. The experience helped Toni find her inner strength, accomplishing what she now looks back on as having made the impossible, possible. The regret she does have was not knowing how to manage the stress or having a confidant to validate her journey and guide her along the way. Toni started Heart Light Enterprises, LLC to help families caring for aging and ill spouses and parents overcome the stress and negative of the experience to find joy and love and have a meaningful journey free of regrets. Toni is a Certified Caregiving Facilitator™, Certified Caregiving Consultant™ and Certified Caregiving Educator.™ Toni will lead our Educator training program as well as become a trainer for our Facilitator training. Connect with Toni via her profile page: @tonigitles.

Aimee Luna
Aimee believes in creating safe spaces for caregivers to explore their caregiving paths, to imagine and design more meaningful journeys, for themselves and the person they’re caring for, and to connect with other caregivers. She is a Certified Caregiver Support Group Facilitator, Certified Life Coach, and Certified Women's Personal Renewal Group Workshop and Retreat Facilitator. Aimee is currently pursuing certification as a Caregiver Consultant/Coach through the Caregiving.com training program. She began her personal caregiving experience with her own mom in August, 2015. It was a journey in love, with wonderful days and equally sorrowful days. Her mother passed away due to diabetes related complications in January, 2019. She spent her final days in the comfort of her home, on hospice, and surrounded by her family. Throughout the course, Aimee and her mom were blessed to have made many good memories that she and her children will cherish forever. Aimee is happy to be working with Denise Brown, Caregiving.com, and all the caregivers who are part of this beautiful community, where she gets to experience the transformative power of the caregiving experience every day. When she’s not busy supporting fellow caregivers in support groups and workshops, you'll find her spending as much time as possible with her 3 children and 5-year-old granddaughter, reading, writing, and checking items off her bucket list such as bartending, traveling, and taking classes towards earning her degree in creative writing. Connect with Aimee through her profile page: @aimeecaregivercoach.
