We had before the Kindles, the tablets and the Nooks?

Oh, technology is great and ebooks are just grand,

But don't you miss the pages you held within your hand?

I used to take new books out of the library just because they smelled so good and the pages felt so smooth. \nBut your poem captures the yearning perfectly, Michelle.

Yes, Hussy. I know how you feel and that is exactly the way my husband always was.

I love my books! I've had floor to ceiling bookshelves in all my homes and I love the visual reminder they give me of the places I have been literature-wise. And I love when people peruse my bookshelves and ask \"Can I borrow that?\" or when I find houseguests reading something they selected from the shelves. :)
