Finding Peace with Dr. Harrington at NCC18

Denise
I am thrilled to announce that Dr. Samuel Harrington, author of a new book, At Peace: Choosing a Good Death After a Long Life, will join us as a presenter at our Third Annual National Caregiving Conference.

Dr. Harrington will present on Friday, November 9, and his presentation will be part of our virtual broadcast. (We will broadcast sessions on November 9 and 10.)

I first learned of Dr. Harrington's new book through an article he wrote for The Washington Post (Failing to tell patients that nothing will help may only make them suffer more). After reading his article, I immediately reached out to invite him to join me on my podcast; our conversation (Finding Peace at the End) aired in March. During our podcast, Dr. Harrington shared important and helpful insights about the courage we can bring into our end-of-life experiences.

I'm so grateful Dr. Harrington will join us at this year's conference. During his presentation, he'll share his perspectives on end-of-life care, how we can find peace for ourselves and our carees and will be available to answer your questions. If you can join us in Chicago, you'll also be able to meet Dr. Harrington and purchase a signed copy of his book. If you can't join us in Chicago, you'll be able to enjoy the live, free broadcast of select conference sessions, including Dr. Harrington's.

We are so very grateful for the support of the following sponsors of our National Caregiving Conference, especially AARP which is this year’s title sponsor.
