@g-j, who cares for her husband, and @tneumann, a dementia care expert who cares for her son and her mom, joined me to talk about a recent case in Iowa in which a husband was acquitted for sexually abusing his wife with Alzheimer's disease. (Read "Iowa Man Found Not Guilty of Sexually Abusing Wife With Alzheimer’s.") We'll share out thoughts on how a diagnosis impacts our relationships, we'll talk about the question of consent and discuss the importance of communicating our wishes with our family members.
