Ellen and I spoke about the importance of finding relief during your day--relief from responsibilities, tasks and worries. The relief comes in our breaks but our breaks must provide moments of relief. We need to be fully present during our breaks; a break will not provide relief if our body is away from our responsibilities but our mind worries about being away from our responsibilities.

Ellen suggested taking five minutes to write down the activities and interests that provide a sense of relief for you. Then, take time to schedule those activities and interests into your day.
