I’m Afraid It’s the FTD

Michelle
I just read Lark’s blog about wishing her husband had a UTI. I, too wish my husband had a UTI or anything curable. In the last month my husband, who has stroke induced vascular dementia and FTD, has become suspicious and negative. Interestingly, he is more aware of of the people around him and what they are doing and saying but almost everything annoys him.

He constantly asks me who was on the phone, where I’ve been, what I’ve been doing. He complains that I leave him with “these s—-t a— people" (morning caregivers) who treat him like a dog (they try to get him to cooperate)

I am requesting that the palliative care doctor run some tests on him but I am afraid that it’s just the FTD.
