In Six Words: What's a Caregiving Night?

Denise
moon-67909_640Donna (@dbates) shared an update last night at 11:50 p.m., which included this:

"mom is up again at 11pm, her bed made ready for me to dress her. I offer her a drink of water, talk to her about resting and going to bed, showing her the clock, looking out the window into the darkness, slowly coaxing her back to bed. Back and forth, upstairs to downstairs, some nights I don’t even bother putting on PJs since I know I will be up again all too soon. I just change from one days clothing to another. God will not give me more than I can handle. It is 11:50pm and I am done for the day. I made it. Time for a nap"

Last summer, we described a caregiving day in six words. I've been meaning to ask you about your nights. Donna's description provided a nice nudge for me this morning.

What's a caregiving night like for you? You can create as many six-word descriptions of your night as you need. And, because every night can be different, please feel free to describe as many nights as you want; just stick to six words.

Thanks so much for sharing!
