In Six Words, What's Your Rant?

In Six Words, What's Your Rant?

wild-geese-716289_640Sometimes, we need to vent.

And, then sometimes, we just need to rant. We need to stomp our feet, form our hands into fists and scream. A tirade is what we need.

So, let's rant. And, let's let it out in a six-word story. In our comments section, below, share as many six-word rants as you need. Just let it out because, chances are, we've thought that very same rant. You'll feel better getting it out and we'll feel better knowing we're not alone.

Rant away!

It is a combonation of things, she is on 6 lpm and the cannula irritates her nose (even with humidification) so she takes it off. She uses an oxygen mask sometimes which doesn't irritate as much but it is hard for her to talk so she takes it off. Part of it is psychological too, she hates looking in the mirror and seeing tubes in her nose or a mask on her face.

My mom and I used to have some good laughs, also. There was one young resident that she met when she was having treatment for lung cancer. He was tall and handsome and she called him \"Dr. Dreamboat.\" Once, when she was coming to after having been given some \"twilight\" meds, she said, \"Where's Dr. Dreamboat?\" We both laughed so hard I thought I would wet my pants! (TMI!!)

Jan Larsen-Fendt, RN, BSN made me smile when I read your comment. I can just hear my mother saying that (she died 2 years ago).

This is just a huge, ginormous, seemingly insurmountable one for me! Maybe the toughest, when it comes to my relationship with my caree.
