sunset-86214_640Indefatigability. Who can pronounce it, or even define it? It sounds like a great word to weed out the weak at the National Geographic Spelling Bee.

I came across it while looking up synonyms for "persistence" when replying to a blog post on this website.

I've run out of words to describe my fellow travelers on this caregiving journey. I used to have a rule that if I read your post, I'd at least say SOMETHING, to show I care and I'm there for you.

I can't follow my own rule any more. I read almost every post every morning and there are no replies for people who are dedicated, determined, steadfast, tenacious, constant, immovable. The same people who show cool and grit and guts and drive and pluck and moxie and spunk and stamina and backbone and endurance. Every day you get up and do it again and again and again. And I can't say enough to show you how much I admire all of you and respect you wherever you are in this process.

What Indefatigability means is "incapable of being tired out; not yielding to fatigue; untiring."

I hadn't thought of that word since my grammar school days and dreaded vocabulary tests.

Until I met you.
