Celebrate Our 19th Birthday

Celebrate Our 19th Birthday

cake-905376_640Caregiving.com turned 19 years old on August 2. Typically, we celebrate our birthday in August. This year, though, my caregiving responsibilities took precedence so I postponed our celebration to this month. (In 2009, for our 13th birthday, I shared the story of how I started Caregiving.com.)

So, let's celebrate for a week, beginning September 20. And, let's party by disrupting.

You already are a disruptor. The delivery of health care starts with you and continues because of you. Now, we’re disrupting together to reinvent health care by making sure the family caregiver always has what he or she needs in order to continue to be a provider in the health care system.

Beginning Sunday, we’ll break to disrupt our life, our day, another family caregiver’s day and on social media. Each day during the week of September 20, I’ll pose an activity or a question. And, each day, when you join in that day’s disrupt action and tell us about it by posting a comment, you’ll be entered into a chance to win one of our daily prizes and grand prizes.

Here’s what our week looks like:

Be sure to stop by Caregiving.com every day to participate and for a chance to win. To win a daily prize and/or a grand prize, you must be a current or former family caregiver, a member of Caregiving.com and participate in one of our daily disrupt activities. Not a member of Caregiving.com? Create your free Caregiving.com account and join us.

Each day, we'll award a daily prize--a $10 Amazon.com gift card. On September 27, we’ll award a grand prize of $100 cash to a random winner.

In addition to our daily disruptions, we're also enjoying our Five-Day Gratitude Challenge.

Thanks so much for being with us! Enjoy the party!
