Meet Our National Caregiving Conference Steering Committee

Denise
Our First Annual National Caregiving Conference will take place on Saturday, December 3, at the Chicago Marriott O’Hare. The goal of our conference is to connect you with support and solutions; empower you with insights and information; and entertain you with engaging and enlightening presentations. We also want to spark important conversations about what we need as family caregivers and former family caregivers in our communities, our workplaces and our health care system.

To ensure a successful conference, I've organized a steering committee to help me oversee, plan and implement our marketing efforts and conference activities. Our committee includes:

cathyCatherine Braxton, Chief Education Officer, Silver Dawn Training Institute
As the Chief Education Officer of Silver Dawn, Catherine is passionate about providing education in a format that is engaging, fun and digs deep. Her educational background in psychology lays the foundation for each module and has crafted them in such a way that you will be immersed fully in it's content. Catherine has spent the past 20 years in the aging industry managing memory care units, providing activities and as a case manager. In Catherine's free time you will find her moving furniture, cooking healthy meals and hanging out with her husband and three children.
