I just read several blogs and had a sigh of relief. Don't feel so alone in several areas like anticipatory grief, which visits me pretty much every day in one form or another. Many days I look at my parent's door and say, internally, "Are   . . . They . . . Alive . . .???"

And I can't say that to just anyone but here I can because 'we know' what it's like to be a primary caregiver but not be one. I think Chris mentioned saying when was the last time you said I love you or Are you important--to yourself. Honestly it's been a long  time.

Today for me The Guilt Fairy is 'winning',  assuming things will go wrong or imagining I can't trust that people mean well so the What If Fairy wants to come in the door. I'd like to let the latter in and the former say, "Hey, I'm important" to herself and maybe she'll melt (Wizard of Oz! ).
