My NCC17 Bold Video

Denise
We’re going bold in anticipation of our Second Annual National Caregiving Conference!

The conference steering committee members have created videos about our conference and our bold moments. This year’s conference theme is our Bold Moments: Before, During, After. In the video below, I share my perspective on our conference and my bold moment.

Help Me Create Awareness
I've been nominated for a WEGOHealth Best in Show Community award. Would you endorse me? Your endorsement will bring visibility to the important work of family caregivers. Thank you!!

About Me
I launched Caregiving.com in 1996. Caregiving.com was the first website to add online caregiving support groups, daily caregiving chats and blogs written by family caregivers. Through its blogs posts, podcasts and video chats, Caregiving.com holds one of the largest online libraries of caregiving stories. Denise also hosts a Twitter chat for family caregivers (#carechat) on the first and third Sundays at 8 p.m. ET. In March 2011, Denise launched CareGifters, an initiative which funds caregiving solutions, one family caregiver at a time. Through CareGifters, I raise money to send money to family caregivers in need. I began working with family caregivers in 1990 and regularly speaks about the family caregiver experience. My insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, US News & World Report, USA Today, SmartMoney.com, Time magazine and Chicago Tribune. My books, including The Caregiving Years, Six Stages to a Meaningful Journey and Take Comfort, Reflections of Hope for Caregivers, provide insights, inspirations and information to those who care for family members. I currently help my parents.

We are so very grateful for the support of the following sponsor of our National Caregiving Conference:
LLY_red_logoVisit Lilly for Better Health® for resources, recipes and tips.

Denise: I am really enjoying following and listening to all you are doing for the conference. I'm so sorry I missed out on it last year. (That is a whole 'nother story in and of itself.) But that you have persevered and continued forward is awesome and \"bold\"...but very good! \r\n\r\n////\r\nI too am familiar with sepsis and am glad that your Dad survived it. It's a hairy road.\r\n\r\n///Keep going! Awesome job...as usual!\r\n\r\n-RM
