Here’s how our Community Caregiving Journal work: Every Wednesday, I’ll post three new words for you to write about. Don’t worry about keeping up every week if that seems too difficult. I am learning to be observant of the circumstances that contribute to an increase of agitation in my mom. When I feel a need to correct, I redirect. When I feel a need to push, I call on patience. When I feel irritation creeping in, I breathe with you. A calm demeanor can offer healing in the moment.


When you push my buttons, you irritate me, but I have the option of taking healing steps to channel away negative thoughts.
